William has been a licensed massage therapist for over 25 years, specializing in therapeutic massage as well as Thai massage and massage for relaxation and peace of mind. He has worked out of Chiropractic offices for 15 years of his 25+ years in practice. It was mostly there, working on people from all walks of life, from athletes to office workers, laborers, doctors, medical workers, as well as average everyday people with active and sedentary lifestyles, that he honed his abilities. These abilities have allowed him to treat therapeutically, through massage, the acute and chronic pain symptoms that plague so many of us, as well as successfully helping chiropractic patients, and his own clients alike, to tap into their own healing powers through bodywork and exercise for a multitude of various bodily disorders and conditions. Early on in his practice, William studied Thai massage in Chang Mai, Thailand. He immediately started integrating the assisted stretching and pressure point work he learned into his bodywork at chiropractic offices as well as with his own clients. His experience working out of various spas and bed & breakfasts in the area has also proved invaluable in developing his ability to create a deeply relaxing massage experience to center the body and mind.
William moved here from Tampa, Florida, in 2004 and now calls the beautiful mountains of WNC and the Asheville area his home, raising two amazing teenagers here that he loves dearly and taking advantage of the sense of community as well as the active and healthy lifestyle that draws people to this area. He keeps very active through exercise, bodyweight training, yoga, hiking, yard work and dancing. William has, also, recently rekindled his love of playing guitar and singing, performing at various open mics in the area.
